SUP-BOARDING FOR BEGINNERS AND EXCURSIONS
Welcome to SUP-boarding beginners' course and an excursion to the western fork of the Kymijoki River!
The course will give you a good and safe basis for starting a new hobby.

STARTING POINT: Wellsters Oy, Ruukintie 11 B, 07970 Ruotsinpyhtää, Finland.
DURATION: approx. 3 hours
FEE: 60 eur / person
COURSE CONTENT
- Safe recreational activities
- Handling of board and paddle
- Boarding
- Paddling techniques
We start on dry land, then move to the water and turn theory into practice.
During the course we will take a short canoe trip on the beautiful Kymijoki River, around Strömfors Ruuk.
The course will give you the skills to paddle independently.
PREREQUISITES
- No previous funnelling experience or active sports background required
- Swimming skills required
- Age limit 15 years. We organise private courses for individuals, groups and families on request.

TAKE WITH YOU
- Lightweight sports equipment suitable for the conditions
- Dry change of clothes and towel
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen and headgear if needed
- We paddle barefoot or with lightweight, water-appropriate footwear. You can hire neoprene shoes and a wetsuit if necessary
