CANOEING ROUTES IN STRÖMFORS IRONWORKS
Strömfors Ironworks and the westernmost branch of the Kymijoki River offer a variety of beuatiful kayaking routes from spring to autumn. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced paddler, you will find a suitable route here.
EXPLORING BY FATBIKE - CYCLING IN NATURE
Fatbike exploring and cycling in nature offers a great alternative to water activities.
Fatbike takes you on a bike ride along dirt roads and forest trails through stunning scenery, offering an exciting and, if necessary, challenging mountain biking experience.
Explore historic villages by bike
Explore by bike the historic Ironwork villages of the lower Kymijoki River in Loviisa, Strömfors in Ruotsinpyhtää and Stockfors in Pyhtää. The cycling route is mainly on sandy roads and along the way you will experience a wide range of activities at the historic sites in the area. On your route you will encounter the medieval stone church of St. Henrik in Pyhtää, the Klåsarö power station dam, which the route passes over, the Savukoski museum bridge and the hand-operated Strukka lock.
